No, this just seems to be a normal (if there was such a thing) rotation out of the unit. As Reinhard said, Duschner left Schusta 30b on 23Jan18. As an aside, Besel left on 27Mar18. R.

Frank, I got a letter from Deilmann's son in 1985, informing me that he had died that year. Unfortunately I can't find the letter, but I'll keep looking.

Karl Eisenmenger

Hi Frank,

If this is the Eisenmenger of the "Eisenmenger and Gund" team portrayed in the relatively famous sanke card, I believe that they were shot down and killed the day after their quadruple. I believe the action was May 24 or 25. 1918 which would put Eisenmenger's death on the 25th or 26th. I'm sure others can positively clarify this.

Best,

Holck

Hello

Eisenmenger and Gund we discussed recently before here on the Forum and the "KTB" of FAA 263 states that Eisenmenger was badly WIC on 17 Jun 18...and that he supposely survived the War...

Regarding Dobberke, I have a note that he lived in Dresden after the War, so he might have had a Saxon origin...!?

Reinhard: Many thanks. Is Schleißheim near Koblenz, which I originally had as his place of death.

VtwinVince: Please keep looking; I hope you can find the letter.

Count Holck: Gund was KIFA on June 9, 1918; his observer on that date was Ltn.d.R Hermann Hammann. Eisenmenger was IIC on June 17, 1918.

Gunner: Your 'notes' are always helpful.

Hopefully someone has further information on the others?

Enjoy!

Frank.

Christian Donhauser

Hi Frank,

I don't know the mistake with the city Koblenz.
Schleißheim is a bavarian town near Munich.
Donhauser crave is now in Hamburg-Harburg.
Look in the website FRONTFLIEGER.DE from our friend Thorsten Pietsch.
http://frontflieger.de/3-d-f.html
Here you can see the gravestone from Christian Donhauser and you can read the place of death "Schleißheim".

greeting
Reinhard
