Triber was born in 1895, and was Geschwaderadj of JG 52 on 8 May 45, having been captured during the Bof B and exchanged. Dont know if he came back from Russia.

Just wanted to let you know that I've got your "Tribute" book as well as the "USAAF Credits for the Destruction ... WWII European Theatre." Absolute "bibles" for me. Your scholarly work is much appreciated!

Had to get the European Credits book from a dealer in Australia!! I'm just now getting into WW1 stuff, but my "primary" specialty remains 8th AF WWII. Your books are the gold standard. I especially like your breakdown and logical 'requirements' for a credited kill.

The Marine flyer Zenses was a Saxon and the spelling of his first name as Alexandre is a typo in British literature...
As far I have seen in original German documents he did not have 19 confirmed victories (see earlier thread about him..)

Frank, maybe I'm confused here, but I have Obstlt. Hasso von Wedel as being captured as official Luftwaffe historian with Stab JG3 on September 15, 1940 and later KIA with ground units 1945 in East Prussia (or possibly Berlin). Not sure if this is the same von Wedel? Also, Richard Wenzl was adjutant to Moelders and survived the crash of November 1941 which killed Moelders.
