Hi again Johan

There was also a flyer within See I (Seeflugstation Flandern I) with the name Mensing. But he was an observer (as Walker was) and far more experiend then Metzing was according to my notes....

The Kofl MK (Tätigskeitsberichte) did make a serious "typo" when mixing up the names... ....they also did write the wrong rank as neither of Metzing or Mensing was Flugmaat at this time....Mensing had been promoted to FlugObermaat already in 1917...

However, I also dont have the first name of the "old" Torpedo flyer Mensing.. does anyone have this information...?

Photo Robertson

Thanks to all of you for the info.

I'm just curious. What happened to the photo that was taken by Walker/Metzing???

By the way, the name Walker doesn't sound very German to me.......
