Konstantin Krefft

I tried this last year with no luck. Maybe one of our new members can shed light on this. What ever happened to Konstantin Krefft?

Paul

Hi Paul:

I've been asking for years myself and still don't know anything outside of what Frontflieger wrote. Truly a mystery. But alas, maybe a new forum member can add some info?

Cheers, Amy

Hello everyone,

This perhaps is pretty obvious but I am wondering....has anybody tried to trace Krefft through family or friends or anyone in his hometown?

Also curious...FliegerJG1

... I once tried to contact the/a family, but they did not answer. And without a detailed date (does anyone have his birthdate? and place) I it hard to find him. Just saying he died between Jan 1st, 1920 and Dec 31st 1929 is no good base to digg through the daily paper of Bad Kreuznach to find a note about him - or to ask the local office.

Hi,

Just found a photo of the man in an older book, didn't even know I had it !

Seems to have been quite a respected figure in JG 1 ! Is there anything more known on him but the things discussed earlier on the forum concerning his WW I carreer ?

Thanks and best from Johan
