Schusta 16 21 October 1917

Hello,

While doing research in Brussels I found two Kriegsstammrollen-Auszüge for these men from Schusta 16:

Flugzeugführer Sergeant Otto, Max Häser. Ev. °5/11/1888 Tronitz Dohna Sachsen, Schlosser in Karlsruhe.
served earlier in the war with FAR 28
14/9/1915 FEA 6
18/4/1916 Fliegerschule Leipzig-Lindenth.
28/7/1917 FEA 6/1. Komp.
4/6/1917 Armee Flug Park 1
21/6/1917 Schutzstaffel 16

20/7/1917 EK 2
19/7/1917 Ehrenbecher
1/8/1917 Flugzeugführerabzeichen
S.Fr.Aug.M.in Silber
(4-22/6/1917 Stellungskämpfe bei Reims)
(from 23/6/1917 on Schlacht in Flandern)

I hope this information may be interesting for some of you...

I'm working on the German cemeteries in Belgium placing all available info in databases etc. If you need any info about an airman, buried in Belgium or formerly buried in a German or Allied war cemetery, I may perhaps have more info. I do not have copies of all registers yet (and some registers are missing too), but I might have a few extra things here and there.

Regards,
Jan

Jan, great information. Thanks! I do have one question, the date of 28.7.17 comes after 4.6.17 ??? Should it read 28.7.16 ??? Rick

Jan,

Thank you very much ! How did you know I was doing Schusta 16 research ?
They were at Stalhille airfield for a while.

Best from Johan
