Link to French aviator items

Sorry folks- I should have included a link to the ebay page so that you can view the items I am referring to. I dont know how to make this a hyperlink that you just need to click on so unfortunately it will need to be cut and pasted into your address line at the top of your brouser. It is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6537599511

Better location to find answers

This thread was off to a real good start with lots of great information. But it now seems to have reached an end at this location. Is there a better place on the forum where I should post questions regarding the authenticity of items that I got on the ebay auction I referenced in earlier posts with this thread?

about the file in Vincenne
a) there is only officers file (the NCO and soldier are stored in various place)
b) there are two service you will need to look at the air and the army section. If the man died before the creation of the air force (1934 if I am right) or if after the creation of the air force he decided to stay in the army then you need to look in the land force section of the historic service, elsewhere check in the air force section.
c) you have free access with the 120 years rule, you can bipass that rule by asking for a permision in most case and if your cases are legitimate the permision will be granted. I have asked for a few and all have been granted.
