Another Bavarian Hptm..
Hi
Hptm x Oberhofer served within the German Flakwaffe during the War. I knew that his "original" regiment is given as 3 b FAR and that he was promoted on 22 Mar 18.. Anyone out there who have his first name, possible date of birth, possible aviation units etc...??? For any kind of added information, thanks in advance  Gunnar |

Hi Gunnar,
as Rick mentioned in another thread, the prewar careers of Bavarians are relatively easy. Just those accursed Prussians that usually cause the problems.  Eduard Oberhofer born 1889. Leutnant: 26.5.09 Oberleutnant: 30.11.14 Hauptmann: 22.3.18 By 1916 holder of the Bavarian Military Merit Order 4th Class with Swords and a Prussian EK2. Adjutant of I./3.BFAR in 1914 Died 19.3.20 as an Hauptmann aD. Regards Glenn |
