Hi Edward,
Exactly. It was Karl Heinrich Bodenschatz. Somewhere he is even cited as von Bodenschatz.
Have a nice day.

Gentlemen,

From one source,I thought I saw three first names of Bodenschatz. The name was Karl Heinrich Julius Bodenschatz but I could be wrong.

His book "Jagd in Flanderns Himmel" is certainly worth a read. I've only read it in translation where it is called "Hunting With Richthofen" (Grub Street 1996). In that he is only ever referred to as Karl Bodenschatz.
