Question Luitpold Graf von Wolfskeel

Gentlemen,

Rittmeister Luitpold Graf von Wolfskeel was the holder of 2nd and 1st classes of the Brunswick War Merit Cross. He was known to have served in FFl.Abt.2b and Fl.Abt.45b during WWI. Do you have any information regarding his life and background of this German aviator born of noblity? What other decorations that he got besides these two that I mentioned? Of course I expected that von Wolfskeel had also been awarded the Iron Cross 2nd and 1st classes.

Sincerely,

Edward

Exclamation

Dear Fliegertruppe,

Thank you so much for your information. For the past few days I've been trying to find out more about the German aviators who were born of noblity either Graf,Freiherr,or none. I trying to find whether these airmen were the holders of the Prussian Johannisterorden or the Catholic Order of Malta. These two orders resembled the Pour le Merite were also worn at the neck. I've been having "neck order fever" for a long time now and it won't go away! The "Blue Max" was given to only 78 junior ranking officer airman. I labored so hard to find German airmen of WWI who won a high neck order other than the Pour le Merite. Anyway thanks for the military record of this aviator of noble birth. Its pretty interesting.

Sincerely,

Edward

Reply deleted (+ 7 awards etc) as of no apparent interest--posting in non-reaction void.

At some point-- and this is that point, my time and effort looking through rank lists, award rolls, casualty lists and so on simply becomes a WASTE of MY time endlessly responding to requests for information-- having assumed that the information was actually WANTED, and not even receiving the mimimum acknowledgement of "thanks."

Exclamation The Mood!

Dear Sir,

If you think I'm to blame for not saying thanks to you than I'm sorry. But I've been in a bad mood for quite awhile. Quite a few people here that I know here in Flagstaff is blaming me for something I didn't think I've done wrong! Go ahead make my day! Leutnant Friedrich Noltenius a 20+ victory ace sometimes felt that he was unfairly blamed or treated by his fellow pilots especially by Jasta 6's leader Lt. Ulrich Neckel. No wonder he was in a bad mood. Back to me. I've have enough being blamed by people for this year!

Sincerely,

Edward (Sigh!)

I don't see the problem here. Noone is compelling anyone to do anything, or did I miss something?
