I have a not saying pilot Flieger Haspel and observer Lt. d.R. Erich Schulz did not come back from a mission on 10 May 1917. I know Schulz was killed but what happened to Flieger Haspel?

Hi Rammjäger

I have a note that the LVG C brought down by Adj Jean Casale and Sgt Legendre from Esc N 23 in French lines at Charmontois, that the pilot was WIAPOW while the observer was killed...
This fits your description rather well...

However, I have the rank of Haspel as vfw..!
