John HUFFER

Hello to all,

I prepare a book on the squadron 62 of the French aeronautics of the Great War. At the end of some research years, I am informed well on the French pilots of this unity but I am him less for the American pilot John HUFFER.
I am particularly interested in three periods of his life in the French squadrons.

Squadron N.95 - 1 April 1916 - 16 June 1916.
Squadron N.62 - 16 June 1916 - 15 March on 1917.
Squadron Spa.62 - 4 October 1917 - 18 February on 1918.

Has you he a member of this forum there which possesses photos of this pilot in units quoted above? And if yes, can you communicate it to me?
I would like to be the most precise possible and not to abandon John HUFFER due to the lack of documentation.

Thanks to have read these some lines and I hope sincerely that you can help me. In the same way, I would help as far as my means my American friends on the French pilots whom I know.

John Huffer, also known as Jean Huffer, was later the commander of the 94th and 93rd Aero Squadrons. He spent part of his growing up years in France and spoke French well. There is a lot of information to be had on him.

Huffer

Hi Albin,

I think we have communicated before on another of your projects. So if you contact me directly I will gladly send what I have on Huffer and Escadrille Spa 62.
