Help With German Pilot

Hi There

Just wondering if anyone has any info about a German pilot by the name of Hans Martin an NCO pilot of FLA224 (in 1918 anyway). I've been chgecking for him in 'Aviation awards of...' but nothing has come up

Jager1: The only thing I can add is that Uffz. Hans Martin served with FA 224(A) from 21Mar18 to EOW. R.

Well thats more than I had on him so thanks for that.
Hopefully someone else may have a little more (although if you don't know more I'm not pinning my hopes!) or even information on FA224

It exist a book about FAA 224w which more or less is a KTB, however information of a/c detail lacks...and also some information like awards...

However, in same cases are promotions mentioned....Hans Martin was reported as Gefr when arriving and he later was promoted to Uffz.
In November 1918 he is reported have been flying a Rumpler 6 (eventually number the a/c?)

Peter Kilduff wrote an article about the unit in Over The Front (eventually Vol 8/3) which have photos etc which not the book have. This article is a very good supplement to the book...

Thanks for some more useful information, its especially interesting that a book was written about this unit, I must try and get hold of a copy or at least Peter Kilduff's article (I've not subscribed to OTF for several years now

)
I have Martin's photoalbum, a few of the photos I will post -although my digital camera is almost as old as the album!! , so pictures are not great

Interestingly Their are three photos of shot down allied aircraft that Martin has described as 'My First', 'My second' and 'My Third' which I can only presume were Combat Victories. A Breguet, A spad and an SE5a-the SE the only one that has a number visable I suppose it may be possible to find out details of the last aircraft (no B8388)

Their is also a photo of Martin in an Officers uniform which looks like it came from his Ausweis - from the look of the unit badge on his sleeve I'd guess it was freikorps or a similar unit
