Hi all

I wonder if anyone knew "who" was chosen as commander of this unit in Sep 1918...?

The unit was stationed in Posen....

I don´t know it for September 1918 but I have a note saying Kofl Heim. 2 became Kofl V. AK (Posen) after the demobilisation. And this Kofl V. AK was a Hauptmann Walter at the years end.

Rammjaeger, could your Hptm. Walter be Hptm. Gustav Walter (O)?? He was on the Stab of Stofl 2 in, at least, Jan17. R.

Nevertheless we have the old problem - no first names mentioned in these post-war reports.

I am rather convinced that it ought to be Gustav Walter....the other Walter (Richard) was probably to "new" to have such a high position...!?
