Flying accident 23 May 1916 Zeebrugge

Hi,

On the 23rd May 1916 a plane was lost. Trainingsplane 208 crashed near the seaplanestation at Zeebrugge, destroying completely the plane, the pilot was lightly wounded, the observer Bootsmaat Hensel was killed.

Any ideas on the pilot ?

Thanks and best from Johan

Bill,

Actually the German War Diary on sea operations of the Marinekorps Flandern 1914/1916... Not always very detailed however...

Best from Johan
