Karl Meyers victory 23 October 1916
Hi,
Here's what I have on that day :
23 October, a non mentioned number of planes, probably just one, drops 4 12 kg bombs on Margate. This happened before noon, and in the afternoon 3 seaplanes and 2 scouts are noticed during the patrol over the blockade ships and they are attacked by 2 fighters, claiming that the enemy planes went on the run and that one was shot down by Flugmeister Meyer. This was his 4th victory and the plane was brought in by torpedoboat A20 to Zeebrugge.
Any additions of all kinds, names crew, etc extremely appreciated !
I dont think that Karl Meyer* scored any victory on 23 Oct 16...Instead a French FBA was shot down by Lt zS Ulrich Niemeyer as his second victory..
The French crew were captured...
