Marius Ambrogi

Bonjour,

Question Henri-Nicolas Arcouët & Mission Française d'Aéronautique au Japon (1919-1920-...)

Bonjour fredcaptain !

Interesting... Have you ever come across the name of Henri-Nicolas Arcouët, pilot in the "Escadrille des Cigognes", in the various documentations you have compiled so far on your grandfather’s career as a pilot? Involved in the Mission Militaire Française d'Aéronautique au Japon (MMFAJ), just after WWI, he might have known Baron Shigeno from what I've heard...

Henri-Nicolas Arcouët was my grandfather... Thanks for your cooperation and understanding!

Best Regards,
Tsuru

PS: Ifever you had some information to share, either on my grandfather's name or on the MMFAJ, would you be kind enough to reply to the following thread? I would appreciate it.
Link... WWI Aviation / WWI French A/C in Japan (1919-1920…)?

It would be nice if someone could provide an English translation of this "Froggy chit-chat" (no offence intended reference is to the movie "Battle of Britain" and Polish chit-chat).

Froggy Chit-Chat

Well...

As fredcaptain says, his grandfather was the french ace Marius Ambrogi.

He was one of the 3 french aces to score victories during WW1 and WW2. We were offering him some documents about his ancestor, and suggesting him to go to the service historique de la defense in Paris were all the documentation is.
