Aces' relatives

I was curious to know whether there any relatives alive of (famous) aces. I mean relatives : "Ace-son-son" (probably only the 3rd one will be likely to be alive)

not the brother of a son of his sister of an ace's uncle and so on ...

"direct kinship" , to say it like that, don't remember the correct term for what I mean, but I suppose you understand me

kind regards

My Gallery
I know Elliot Springs' daughter and grandson. They live not too far from here.

Kiffin Rockwell's nephew (Paul Rockwell's son) also lives couple of hours from here.

A nephew of William Thaw lives in the Boston area - nice guy with great taste in art.

A relative of Sumner Sewall is a fellow forumite here at the 'drome. (sorry, I'm getting into extended family now)

Giovanni Baracca, grandson of Francesco Baracca is alive and ok. I think he got a flying licence too.

Photo from 1994, in the backwall the italian ace with King Albert of Belgium.

I dunno if Wolf-Manfred von Richthofen (Lothar's son) is still alive, but I know that he had children, and they are still alive.

But for some reason, (might be the divorce) it's not a commonly known thing. I mean, we hear of other aces, but when von Richthofen is mentioned, people seem to be of the mind that "his" line is dead, which it most certainly isn't.

I know Ernst Udet has a daughter - but as he was unmarried she does not have his name!

Göring's daughter - Edda - is still living.

Veltjen's sons and and Harry von Bülow's son - Conrad - still lives, too

... as far as I have contacted son/daughters and other relatives of (German) aces they are cooperative and polite and willing to help - exept the devorced sister-in-law of Hans-Georg von der Osten ...
