Roster help! Need victory count for US pilot...

His name was Lt. W. Hockert and he flew with the USAS, but I don't know which unit. He was not an ace but I believe he had one or two claims. Were they confirmed? Can anyone verify which unit he was with? Any help would be appreciated. I cannot find him on my rosters. Moocho thanks!

I have no one with the name Hockert in my US WW1 Victory List. Nor does the name appear in my RFC/RNAS/RAF or French databases.

Thank you, Frank. I know he was a Lt., his name was Hockert and he was in the air service in the summer of '18 but I have nothing else. I suspected that he had one or two unconfirmed claims but cannot be sure.

What other possibilities am I missing? Could he have been an officer who didn't fly at all, either as observer or pilot, hence his absence from any claim lists? As a lowly Lt., surely he wouldn't have been on a general staff or group staff anywhere would he? I really need to find anything I can on him but I'm striking out with all my sources. If you have any other ideas on where to look I could sure use the help. Thanks again.
