OTF 4-4 has an artical on Baden airmen who died in WW I. It says he died of an illness. Disease was a big killer in Russia during WW I and the Civil War period. Why Jungeblodt was still in Siberia at this time is because while many Central Powers POW's were repatreated after the early 1918 treaty of Brest Livostok. Many others were cut off in Siberia and Turkestan do to the outbreak of the Russian Civil War and did not make it home until 1919-21.This is from the notes I took from a book I stumbled upon recently titled "Among Prisoners of War in Russia and Siberia" by Elsa Brandstorm. Also note many Central Powers ex POW's fought in the Red Army during the Russian Civil War.
