Rfc in Brescia (Italy)
I’m looking for informations about a Royal Flying Corps Unit – or Royal Engineers Unit – that in 1917 stayed in the city air field of Brescia (Campo Marte), in Northern Italy. Does anyone know something about it? I found that No. 28 Sq Rfc (Camel) and No. 34 Sq. Rfc (Re.8) stayed for few days on air fields of Montichiari and Ghedi – both near Brescia – in nov. 1917. But I believe that in the WW1 airfield of Montichiari was no more, because it was eliminated after the great international race of 1909. So, could it be a mistake the indication about Montichiari? Could it be instead Brescia? Thanks to everyone who is going to help me.
