British VC postage stamp set: Albert Ball

When I was in England for three weeks in September the Royal Mail issued a set of six stamps honoring recipients of the Victoria Cross. Among those illustrated is Albert Ball. I picked up a set when I discovered it. It is now available to those in Canada and the US through the good offices of Canada Post. For $10.99C you get a souvenir sheet of six stamps (2 First Class rate, 2 64p, 2 72p) plus the 20p VC stamp from the (British) 1990 Gallantry Awards set. For those in Canada and the US this set can be ordered from Canada Post by calling (toll-free!) 1-800-565-4362. Tell them what you want and give them your credit card number. For those in the UK you should still be able to find it at your local Post Office. For others it can be ordered from Canada Post by calling (toll!) 1-902-863-6550.

Enjoy!

Frank.
