Kagohl III loss 30 june 1918

Hi,

Another mystery is the loss of this crew :
30 June 1918
+ Unteroff. Brodesser Hermann, a gunner from Bosta 14 is KIA at Izegem
+ Unteroff. Matting Kurt a pilot of Bosta 14 was KIA at Izegem
+ Lt. Perseke Paul an observer from Bosta 14 was KIA at Izegem
All buried at Langemark German military cemetery.

Any ideas on the plane, number and circumstances of the loss ?

Thanks and best from Johan

Hi Johan

Was this not as a result of a raid on Dunkirk, which destroyed a number of Camels belonging to 213 Sqn....??

Hi Pete,

Thanks for reacting, it probably was indeed, however have no idea if they had technical problems, or were shot down by plane or Flak...

Best from Johan
