Time to dig out all my reference material (I'm sure I have the information somewhere)
I just want to get it right!
Any help would be appreciated............

Galloway,
The best info that I can offer at this particular time is this:
Lt. Werner Voss, 1917, was originally in a Reserve Regiment, he wore the uniform of the Fliegertruppe with a M.1910 tunic modified with breast pockets.
MvR on the other hand Perferred the Ulanka service uniform, with the Iron Cross First Class and pilots badge pinned to the left breast while he served with Jasta 11. This type of uniform was quite typical for what you see MvR wearing in most of his photographs and film clips. The Ulanka tunic and tight trousers are (I think) piped poppy-red, the shoulder boards have white-on-red underlay, and bear the white piping and cipher of the unit.
Boelcke's field tunic seems to be a modicied M.1910 type, without Litzen, but retaining black piping at the collar and cuffs.
There is also M1916 Khaki drill tropical uniforms, with matching cotton cap and brown visor and chin strap.
Sorry, thats the best I have from memory - Let me check through some books and see what I can find.
