Possible photos.

In 1919 a group of RFC/RAF aces went to the US to fly a Victory Bond tour of America. These were Gerald Constable Maxwell, Beauchamp Proctor, Fullard, Woollett and Holliday. Also included in the tour were American pilots: H M Smith, A M Simonin, L H Harris, J O Donaldson J O Creech, and J G Hall. The tour began the tour at Philadelphia, and then flew shows at Baltimore,Detroit,Cincinatti,Portland, Boston, Cleveland,Nashville, Birmingham, Louisville, Concorde, Atlanta and many other other Americian cities and towns. Would it be worth seeing if any of the principle newspapers in these cities have a photo archive and if any photos remain of the tour. To my lasting regret, in the Vivid Air I did not include the names of the newspapers whose cuttings I quoted, which were in Gerald Maxwell's scrap book.
