40 Sqd casualties July, 1918

Hello all,

Can one of you learned forumites tell me of the casualties suffered by 40 Squadron in July, 1918? I'm working on a piece about one of the pilots, but I want to place it in some sort of context.

Thanks much,

Bulldog 90

The two casualties I have listed are:

22-Jul-18 ; Lt I L Roy, took off 08:50 and was shot down near Carvin in SE5a B180, said to be Oblt Harald Auffarth, J29, for his 15th victory but his claim was timed at 08:40 (British time)

31-Jul-18 ; Capt G E H McElroy MC DFC, took off 08:15 and was shot down near Laventie in SE5a E1310, possibly by Vzfw Hans Gullmann, J56 for his 1st victory.
