Question Fokker shot down 1915 query

Years ago I came across a history which showed a dead Fokker pilot shot down September 1915. How many Fokkers were lost that month? Also German Pilots had a macarbe postcard of a skull with an aviator's helmet and a Mark Bill in the mouth. What was the joke about? Was it only sold during WW I or during WW II as well?

Postcard

Hello,

this postcard with the scull of a pilot is with a 50 Mark banknote in his mouth for the monthly bonus for flying personal and it should tell them how riscant it can be in the air.

Fokker what? What are you meaning with "Fokker"?

Fokker A-type 2-seater? Used in FFA´s.
Fokker E-type 1-seater (rather unlikely to have been lost in aircombat 9/15 because the E-type was just in introduction in service since short time and very, very rare)
Are you sure about Fokker at all?

There were different pictures with the skull in aviation outfit and money between the teeth. As said before it was a macabre joke and a reminder for aviators to be aware of the risks linked with their "Fliegerzulage". Therefore you can find pictures with only 50 M (payment for every decade) or with 3x50 = 150 M (sum per month) in the mouth of the skull.

Hello Nieuportfans,

Welcome!
Unless you already know how, you need to contact (personal message) Scott to open a thread for your question. He can direct you to the proper way of asking a question. You will have a better chance of finding what you need.

What size Nieuport 28 blueprints do you need?
Model, Flying Model, or Replica ( Full Scale )?

Good Luck, FOKKERJ

Nevermind! I see that there is already a thread posted in the Aircraft Forum.

Welcome to the Aerodrome Forum. Like you I am Chinese by birth. I was born in Canton in August 1923. I was named by your most illustriate patriot, Sun Yat-sen.
To what detail are you looking for in a 1/16 scale Nieuport 28?
Blue skies,

My not to reliable notes from EGA have Fokker EI 43/15 flown by Gefr Schurz wrecked in late sept 1915. as for the Fokker A types FFA 40 &41 flew them and on 7 sept FFA 40 had 1 KIA and 1 POW and on 19 sept FFA 41 had 2 KIA according to CGAS. However, I don't know what these 2 crews were flying when lost. TSTB does have a number of RFC claims on both these days.
