Question about Unknown Aviator
I am looking for information about a man named Harry Trubenbach. I recently purchased a watercolor that depicts a French WWi flyer receiving a decoration. It is inscribed to Harry Trubenbach from, I am told, a fellow flyer whose name is indecipherable. All I have to go on is that Trubenbach was living in Danbury, Connecticut when he died in March of 1978. He was born on May 25, 1892. I am told he was an aviator in WWI. Any clues or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
