Thanks Stephen, in my mind that helps date some of and possibly all of this film, along with the delivery dates of the training aeroplanes. Possibly Summer through Armistice. That possibly explains why there are no front line shots. That our "May" was some part of the training element, either a pilot trainee or ground support.

VBR, Jay

While I'm looking for the rest of the pictures,
I thought I would post this image to see what is known
about Jasta, colors, Flieger, dates, etc.

I appreciate any and all information.

Thanks, Jay

The chevrons on the fuselage remind me of some A/H markings
that I've seen, but clearly this is an Albatros D.V with
1918 Balkenkreuse, not an O.E.F.!

Through the studies of Dr. Glen Merrill we now believe that this is from Jasta 5.

Thanks Stephen, I'll have to look, I think that Americal/Gryphon made some Jasta 5 decals early on that were later discontinued long before they went out of business. I believe that this machine was featured on that sheet.

Vzfw. Jupp Cremer had one victory and it was at Jasta 5. He arrived Oct. 1917 and transferred 16 Apr 1918 to Armee Flug Park Nr.2.
