This is just alittle something I want to do.
WHO IS YOU FAVORITE ACE OF WORLD WAR 1?

I'll start it off. My favorite ace is Georges Guynemer.

Aleksandr Alexandrovich Kozakov - The Aerodrome - Aces and Aircraft of World War I

If Kozakov flied on the Western front, the account of its victories would be another! There and planes was much more, and planes were more modern and are is better armed than on East!

It has to be Arthur Rhys Davids for me with Albert Ball a close second!

For the Central powers side probably Rudolph Berthold

My favorite two aces hail from 46 Sq. RFC: Arthur Lee and Victor Yeates. Their books more than anyone's give me that feeling of the time and place. Lee's "No Parachute" in particular. It was one of the first accounts I read and left a deep impression on me at such an early age.
