Johann, pretty sparce information but this is what little I have.

Flg.Mt. Hans Held (P):
FS Langfuhr _______ 17Sep17 - 8Oct17
SFS Barge ________ 8Oct17 -
MFLA __________________ - 5Mar18
MFJ 2 ____________ 5Mar18 - 23Jun18
MFJ 3 ____________ 23Jun18 - (Sep18)

Even less for FlgMt. (NFN) Pfeiffer (P):
MFJ 3 ____________ 26Aug18 - (Sep18)

This is really a question for Gunnar, but he hasn't been around lately. Hope he is OK. R.

Hi Rick,

Thank you very much !
I'm finishing a new book on the Marinekorps Flandern, and as I was looking into the september 1918 victories, there were a few I can't place correctly.
These two that is, MFJ III victories or not ? I got a new list of victories from the archives for May-September 1918, but it's not complete, and they mention no units...

Interesting is that they mentioned that the 18 July 1918 victory of Christiansen seems to be his official 5th and Wladika's 2nd. I had 6... on that moment, made a mistake somewhere.

Hope you're ok also, and the same of Gunnar !

Best from Johan

Hi

I only have some minor additions regarding Johann (Hans) Held. He joined J-thal for pilot training on 23 May 17 from II SFA. His rank then was Flugzeugmaat. He had this rank since 1 Dec 16 and it was later changed to Flugmaat when he become an "official" pilot...
On 23 Jun 17 he was posted FEA 6 in Saxony for further training. He returned 23 Aug 17.
He received the Landfliegerabzeichen on 22 Dec 17 and EKII on 4 Jun 18.
He was posted directly from LFS Barge to MFJ II...

Regarding Flugmaat Pfeiffer, I dont have his first name. However he received the Fliegerzulage at J-thal on 15 Oct 17. His military rank number was probably 1430 which could be a clue to find first name...
He might had a connection to a mechanic Pfeifer within MFFA I who partly had served as an gunner and recorded 7 front flights during 1915...??
However, I have Pfeiffer as a member of MFJ II and no connection to MFJ III...He served within MFJ II until 2 Nov 18 when he was posted to Kofl N.
He was promoted to Fl.Ob.Mt on 5 Nov 18 and received the Ehrenpreis on 23 Dec 18.

Thank you very much Gunnar, don't have a first name for Pfeiffer either. Sorry.
