Flight Lt. Browne, DFC, 202 Sqdn ?
Looking for more information about this officer and the claim on a seaplane in 1918

Any more information on this officer or the date of the combat? There was only one "Browne" awarded the DFC (he served with No 13 Squadron) and I cannot identify an officer named "Browne" who made any claims with No 2 Squadron RNAS/No 202 Squadron RAF. Graeme |

Unfortunately, I got it from a caption from a photo from a 202 Sqdn album, saying : Flt. Lieut. Browne DFC C a. G with crew of seaplane he fought and brought down. So I supposed he was from the same Squadron. Could be not it seems... All photo's date from 1918. So it was to be logical that the photo was also from 1918. But I'm not 100 % certain at all !
