I am hoping that someone will be able to hep me identify a RAF (former RFC?) pilot of RE8 4669. As I recently obtained a group of photos which seem to be related to one man. Unfortunatly he has not identified himself by name other than by writing "self" on the back of some of the photos. There is a potential clue in one of his photos though, as he has written on the back of one "Self in RE8 4669 taken by Watts over Kasvin. 10(or15?)/12/19". My guess is that Watts was the observer flying in the plane parallel to my mystery man. The particular photo is small, showing the RE8 in the distance and in the foreground the wing tip of the biplane from which the snap shot was taken.

Any help will be appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Insignia

Hello again,
I have just noticed that I typed in the Aircraft number incorrectly within the body of my message. The number is "4699" not 4669.

Whoops,
