Smile Royal Flying Corps, 6th and 8th Sqn's WW1.

Hi There,

new to this forum,

so it might take me a while to find my way around!

Just wondering can anyone help with any information to do with the 6th and 8th Sqn's of the RFC/RAF between 1915-1918.

My main interest would be Neale family members of that time that served in these Sqn's but if any members have information to do with other Neale family members that served in other Sqn's during WW1/WW2 and even post WW2, I would be most grateful to hear from you.

Many thanks for any and all help

Regards,
Chris Neale.

Chris

The only "family members" I've come across are:

Lieutenant F NEALE, No 57 Sqn RAF, Kia 02/10/1918
Captain John Everard Digby NEALE, Leicestershire Regt, Killed 22/08/1917
Second Lieutenant Robert Edward NEALE, No 29 Sqn RFC, Kia 18/03/1918 in Nieuport 27 B6823
No 5339 Air Mechanic, 1st Class Walter C NEALE, No 6 Sqn RAF, Died 15/11/1918

2nd Lieutenant (Temporary Captain) Albert Leslie NEALE, Lincoln Regiment, No 11 Sqn RFC, awarded the Miltary Cross
Temporary 2nd Lieutenant (Acting Captain) G B NEALE, General List, Mentioned in Despatches

Thumbs up

Hi Graeme,

Excellent news and thank you for the contact.

Really many thanks for that, that gives me a good bit of information to work on.

I guess other might have served within the time frame of WW1, I will do some more digging!!!

Thank you once again for the contact.

Kind Regards,

Chris Neale.
