Memorial to 50th Aero Sqdn American Aviators planned for Oct 7, 2009 Remicourt, France. Last years visit failed to find any memorial. Areodrome used by this Sqdn in Meuse-Argonne Operations, Sept-Oct '18. Two Medal
of Honors awarded this Sqdn. I am planning return on Oct 7, 2009 to place in cooperation with & full support of the local officials. a permanent bronze plaque in both English & French text along with detailed 50th DH-4 Liberty aircraft model & copy of the "The History of the 50th Aero Squadron", in the town hall.
I need help in defraying the cost of this cast bronze plaque which totals approx. $5000.USD which incl plaque, shipping and installation. All donations will be welcome and recorded in the town records.
