Rick Duiven was one of the finest individuals I have ever known in this realm of historical study. He was my friend too. Though you are certainly mistaken about what he did or did not get his hands on. I have some of the Tornuss notes because of Rick. So keep that hogwash to yourself.

My issue with you, is if you have seen the Jasta 24 diary (you say there were two) fine post it, publish it, write about it but it has nothing to do with the personal diary of J. Jacobs. Therefore it is not relevant to this thread. If you don't want to read about what I write then put me on your ignore list or report me.

Hal Oele

I think, from reading through this thread, I know who he is and can confirm that he spends half his life in German achieves or visiting families. I do not know many more dedicated people than he and believe that his character is impecable, his research well worthwhile and his opinion more than valuable...

Not No 15

No 15 is not Jacobs...

The second image shows Jacobs!

You are entitled to your opinion. If the research he has displayed concerning the Jacobs diary is any indication, I can do without it. He can't even get his facts straight about how much it went for at auction. He has misquoted the diary and even said that there were passages in the original that came from Oct. 1918. The diary's last entry was Sept 1918. Herrn Hal Oele has slandered Jacobs by indicating he was lying about subject that that Hal Oele can't even get straight.

No one has said anything against Joerg's character or research. He has just been told he is mistaken about one subject and encouraged to publish some of his findings on another.

The last post on this thread was way back in Aug, looks like the diary dust has settled, time to post a few more things.

Stand by.
