MvR did not use any symbols on any of the Dr.I's he flew.

He was know to have flown Fokker Dr.I 102/07, 114/17, 127/17, 152/17, 161/17, 477/17 and 425/17 the one he was shot down in.

You can find a link to some color illustration in the Dr.I profile section for these and other Dr.I's to see for your self. You can also see the photos of these machines in the photo section to compare.

Lots and lots of MvR pictures

If you want a lot of MvR pictures (seems to be the case), get Peter Kilduff's book "The Illustrated Red Baron". It consists mainly of pictures with short captions. It is in English but as I said- not too much text, mostly pics.

MvR in civilian clothes:

Google doesn't help much here- there is another civilian clothes picture in "Mein Kriegstagebuch" by MvR's mother.

Someone once tried to figure out MvRs height by comparing him to his dog Moritz but I don't remember right now where I found that info. If I do, I'll post it.

i read this:

The photograph of Manfred in a nun's habit was
obtained later for display in the Richthofen Museum at
Schweidnitz. The story behind it appeared in a later
edition of his memoirs: 'A young lady who said she
came from a good family wrote to me. This. lady is a
novice and will become a nun. In her convent cell she
has a picture of me that she had picl{ed up somewhere.
And then one day something bad happened: the abbess
came into the cell and saw the picture. The novice
received a severe reprimand and was told that prospective
nuns should not have pictures of men hanging in
~heir cells ~ not even when these men are well-l{nown
fighter pilots. The novice, therefore, had to remove the
picture. But ... she did something that perhaps flatters
if not misrepresents me. She wrote to a friend who was
already a nun and asl{ed her to send a large photograph
of herself. The friend did that. Then the poor girl cut
out the face of th~ photograph and stucl{ my face under
the nun's habit.' "Peter Kilduff:the illustrated red baron"

thanks for your help and the picture!

I saw once MvR in civilian but that are not this picture! that picture MvR wear a hat and suit!

do you send me more civilian MvR pictures!(in my country doesnt buy this book! )

in this video:

at 0:33-0:39 MvR isnt it?( i think but it not sure)

Yes, that is Manfred at 0:37. He is wearing his hunting clothing just as he is in the photo Royalla posted. Photos of Manfred out of uniform are very rare.

ok thats right!

Kunigunde told:

Manfred loved this one girl(Kate Otersdorf). He had for her the love of an
honourable man for the woman he wanted to be the
mother of his children. I know that she loved him.'

Has anybody got young MvR photo(over 16 under 20!)?

There is something about that photo that really bothers me. What's the background on it? How sure is the attribution? To me the nose is way out of proportion compared to other pictures of MvR, though other features do bear a definite resemblence.

The photo shown in the video is just the picture in "Mein Kriegstagebuch" by Kunigunde Freifrau von Richthofen- and the caption says its him. That normally doesn't prove anything but in this case it's different- I guess that every mother would be able to identify her son (I would)! This photograph has been retouched, which is especially obvious when you look at his eyebrows- this distorts his features and is probably what perplexed you.
