In which sentence of Peter Kilduff did you find this information? Please quote the lines and tell us the page.

Can we have the full story 'Kate and Manny... a Tale of True Love.'... love a bit of romantic fiction, me.

the fiction part of this romance i read a forum in the internet!

and the true love part of this romance i read peter kilduff book!

Below: A popular photograph of Richthofen and
Kate Otersdorf, his nurse at the hospital in Courtrai,
might have suggested a romantic link, but the rigid
pose of both and the distance between them clearly
signalled that theirs was an entirely professional rela-
tionship. American journalist Floyd Gibbons
recorded that Richthofen received many letters from
adoring women throughout Germany, but, unfortunately,
they have been lost to history. Also missing is
correspondence from a young woman who was said
to have attracted his special attention. I(unigunde
Freifrau von Richthofen told Gibbons: 'Manfred
loved this one girl. He had for her the love of an
honourable man for the woman he wanted to be the
mother of his children. I know that she loved him.

sorry if you mean another thing!

Manfred has got 2 book? :O

Richthofen, M. von. Ein Heldenleben.
Berlin, 1920
Der rote Kampfflieger. Berlin,
1917,1933

i didnt knew!

Mother Richthofen did not talk about Käthe, but an other young woman. This relation was dicussed in Over the Front some years ago. Manfred did not want to 'marry a widow'. He was certain not to survive the war, therefor he did not go further in this relationship.

I beg to disagree...
I bought a copy of the Rote Kampfflieger (1933) edition in Prague 5 years ago and Budapest has many old book shops with german titles...about 3 years ago i bought a book with pictures of "German heroes" (in German) which included MvR. they are available, if rare. there is nothing illegal or even politically incorrect for a collector to search for such items.

Ebooks if they legit are another good way to read that book. Most of the books your asking for are not in Ebook form legally. There are all here on this forum and if they read this they would probably be really upset on what your asking for.

If some one here posted a link to what your asking for could get the post deleted and or banded fro the Aerodrome.

When if come to these these reference books you will have to go out and buy them like everyone else. If that not a option then some people have to special order it through their library.

I just thought I step in here and say thing thing before something hits the fan

Lloyd...
thanks Lloyd!
Please go out and BUY the rote Kampfflieger. I have accumulated about a dozen copies of the 1933 edition over the years but they never seem to budge in price!
Someday the 500,000 or so copies will get soaked up and become a rarity...hopefully by the time i retire!
