are we discussing centimeters? +/- 5 is not a problem, is it?

Many years ago I was informed by a rawther earnest chap that The Von had faked his own death and emigrated to Amerika, spending the rest of his life as a Studebaker dealer in Cleveland.

Honest. I'm a novelist with a vivid imagination, and I could not make that up.

... that's what they call it in the US (in the UK it is "humour" and it is drier and a bit more sarcastic.

MvRHU, let me buy you a drink next time I visit Budapest and I will explain this Anglo-American pasttime in greater detail!

Talking

Mates,
Lets get back to the point - and in baiting MvR HU, I do not believe is one of them. The poor lad is confused enough, without American or British humor, and pulling his leg is like telling him to go sit in the corner in a round room.

A lot of the questions that MvR HU is asking is what he doesn't know and would like to find out. Distortion over the years, most probably is confusing the lad something terrible and he would like to find out the truth.

MvR HU - in regards to your question, both airmen were shot down and killed while in the air. Neither faked anything and neither worked in the US as used car salesmen. Check out the book 'who killed the red baron' there are two pics of MvR on a metal roof sheet. His eyes and mouth were open due to when he died. The eye lid's do not shut automatically upon death - some stay open, others close. The eye lid's are invollentary muscles and react to the brain's commands. When the brain stops, so do the muscles that it controlls.

Anything to the contrary is muck, IMHO.

Thanks for the assistance.

My apologies, MvRHU. I didn't mean to lead you astray. It should be clear from the various PMs we've exchanged that I will always help you with whatever I can.
