Scott McGowin Observer Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Burlington, North Carolina Posts: 7	Capt. George Frederick Campbell...again I'm reading this man's book and am curious about the story behind the story. Judging from the content of past posts about this gentleman it would seem that his claims and stories from his book "A Solder Of The Sky" are in question. Yet from those post I see that he is linked to No. 32 squadron which did fly pusher fighters (DH-2s) during the dates inferred and the tail number 5942 he mentions in chapter "F.P. Number 1" was a DH-2 assigned to 32 squadron. So is he telling other peoples stories or is their truth to the book. Anyone have any new information?
