Jasta 47 sleeve patch (Warning - graphic)

A couple of recent ebay pick-ups I thought I'd share here in the hope of gleaning some further information about Jasta 47.

My area of 'expertise', and I use that term loosely is Imperial German infantry regiments - anything with wings and I come running to The Aerodrome Forum for an assist

I'll reiterate, the images are of a graphic nature - but the shoulder straps and sleeve patches should be of interest to the forum members / visitors.

G'Day Drake Goodman,

I hope that you are enjoying your Spring time.

I don't know how I missed these great fotografs, I must have been hibernating!

Thanks for sharing them.

Cheers, FOKKERJ

eBay

Hi Jay,

I look at eBay very regularly and still manage to miss countless items such as these photos and the anemometer which sold recently. I swear they must disappear into some sort of time warp or something silly like that! .... and he's here in Australia too so he must know something that I don't too!

Cheers,

David.
