Armand De Turenne and GB1

Does anyone know if Turenne flew any missions with GB1 in 1915. I know he was sent to train as a pilot after only two months (September 1915?) but did he see action as an observer/air gunner during this time?

Also what escadrille were flying with GB1, and does anyone know which of these was Turenne's unit?

regards

Bonsoir
Teh De Turenne's unit in july 1915 was the VB 102

(GB1 was formed with 3 escadrilles:
VB1 on 23 novembre 1914 then VB 101 on 1/03/1915
VB2 on 18/10/1914 then VB102 on march 1915
VB3 (former BR14) on 5/12/1914 then VB 103 on 4/03/1915)

He was promoted as observateur Bombardier-In 21/07/1915
and only a few day later, was admitted as student pilot on 6/08/1915!

cordialement
Bruno
