He was a pilot and died in 1923. Does anyone have any information on him?

Dear friend,
Alberto De Bernardi was in the Squadrons 27, 76, and 81, then became commander of Group XIII on September, 17, 1918. He received 2 Medaglie di Bronzo al Valor Militare (Bronze Medal for Military
Valour).
Happy landings

A picture of Capt. De Bernardi's Hanriot with his Alpini insignia appears in our book Italian Aces of WW1 and their Aircraft, Schiffer Military Books.
He should not be confused with another Alberto De Bernardi, brother of the more famous Mario, test pilot, recordmand and Schneider trophy winner. This Alberto De Bernardi was a test pilot with Pomilio and was killed in flying accident on 7 April 1917.
