Division IV Archive of the Bavarian War Archive in Munich

G'day All,

I was wondering if it is possible for any German members of the forum could do me a favour and check the Division IV Archive of the Bavarian War Archive in Munich (Bayerisches Hauptstaatsarchiv, Abt. IV Kriegsarchiv) for photos of Gordon Oxenhams death and photos of Laurence Smith as a POW both of 1 Squadron AFC.

Oxenham was killed when his Bristol Fighter was shot down either from the air or by ground fire near El Kutrani, and Smith was taken prisoner.

Oxenham's family were given some photos by Laurie Smith who told them that the photos were copies from one of the Germans responsible for shooting them down and that his collection was donated to the Bavarian War Archive in Munich.

I appreciate any help that you can give me.
