2 french pilots became ace in 1915 quite a few more in 1916 here is a list of those 25 pilots by chronological order (I will give give short biography of some of those ace latter)
the first pilot to became an ace in 16 was a young sergent pilot named Guynemer some very talented authors and our local belly dancer having produce some great work about this extraordinary pilot I will not (well maybe but latter) oh by the way Guynemer became and ace on the third of february
26 feb Adj Navare (He will soon became the ace of ace and stay so during all the battle of verdun)
4 april Nungesser (we may nottice that some of the most famous pilot becameace early and 2 of the 3 french top scorer were among the five first pilot to became ace)
19th June Chaput
22th June Adj Lenoir
2nd July Sgt Chainat
11th July Deulin
15th July Sgt De Rochefort
7th August SLt De La Tour
17th August Lt Heurtaux
22th August Adj Dorme
29th August Adj Sayaret
17th September Adj Tarascon
27th September Adj Jailler
2nd Ocotber Adj Bloch and Sgt Sauvage
12th October Adj Lufbery
