LePau, French pilot

Does somebody know something about a French pilot named

LePau or LePou who flew as a Lieutenant Sopwith Camel (for the British) at war?

Many thanks for your help.

Regards

Rainer

Rainer,

I do find a 2/Lt Le Poer, injured on 18/12/1917 at 45 TS, South Carlton. Suffered engine trouble in Camel B9182 at 100 ft on take-off. He stalled and spun in. His full name is given as CF Le Poer Trench. Might be him?
Information comes from 'the Camel file" (Sturtivant-Page)

best wishes

Thank you Walter!

the Camel on the small picture shows the number 9 on first place and 2 on the last place of the aircraft number. So, this could really might be 2nd Lt. Le Poer. Unfortunately I can't read the other two numbers clearly.

Somebody have more information to offer about 2nd Lt. Le Poer Trench?

Regards

Rainer

Rainer, according to the CWGC, he did not die during the war (or at least he is not listed as a British casualty). Success in your research
