Thanks a lot Rod. I learned that Pegoud contracted Malaria (Ague, they called it then) while with the 5th Chasseurs and spent less than eight months in North Africa before being evacuated home in the Spring of 1908. But he was proud of his service in Morocco and often wore his campaign medal.
I really like your site btw. I have some good shots of the reinforced cabane they put on the Bleriot XI for the Summer of 1913 tests they did with the aircraft suspended from a cable if you could use them.
