You just wear 'em down, Al. But a victory by attrition is as good as any. Worked for Monty.

PS: is there something wrong with the spell checker?

If you wants a spell checker that works, you gotta pay. Me, if I'm in doubt, I run it through Word.

Al,
It's great to hear from you again! Don't stay away so long, the forum is not the same without you. I am even going to give you a pass on Billy Boy today. I am not going to pan him, but will say instead he was a brave pilot.
Richard

Hi Richard,
At least even Ben Greenhous said that much about Bishop.
I was rather busy at the time. Working VERY long days, 10-14 hours each.
Now, I'm back .

That reminds me, Al, are you still on the job? I know that you left Chicago PD a long time ago, but I thought I remember you saying that you were gonna go back to being a sworn LEO.

Nope, working as a computer help desk tech. I'm really too old and too out of shape to go back to LEO work. If I was maybe 5 years younger, and 50 lbs lighter, I'd think about it, but I have too many health problems to consider it now.

True, but you're still nicer than Jasta was. Although I Have to wonder what HE would think of Greenhous' book.
When you consider that so far, only 1 or 2 of Bishop's claims have been matched to known German losses, and I think THAT is what Jasta considered Bishop's score to be.
In "The Making..." Greenhous admits to considering Bishop's "REAL" score to be something around 23-27. Just a tad bit more than Jasta would agree with.
