Sad to hear. (Isn't there a Canadian Combat Aviator still hanging in there?) Gone but not forgotten. My hat is off to a generation in which duty and honor were not just buzzwords (not to mention a keen sense of adventure).
They took to the air when aviation was a realm of the unknown and paid with their lives to gain basic knowledge which we now take for granted when a student pilot. Then they flew into combat.
Valhalla is the richer for their entry.
Weldboy.
