Most of you know about the Weir Cook project.

1. Bringing a WW1 museum to the public.
2. Restoring H. Weir Cooks name back to the Indianapolis, IN. Airport. Which this dedicated man called home.
3. H. Weir Cook & NEW info of the 94th to a book.

I have been working hard w/the airport to see this happen. Their has been no talk of them not doing this. Just no one saying WE will do this & now.

This is where I need to blow off a little air!

The other day I was watching Late Night w/ DAVID LETTERMAN (CBS). A real GEEK from my home state! He goes to talk about a interstate that he feels should house his name on it. The politicians love it. That's the talk for several days. I say what has this man done for Indiana that is half of what our hometown hero, ace, WW1 & 2.
I ask a lot of those same politicians to support restoring the honor & they reply: " It's not my area".
All they have to do is read & support. This isn't science. The honor was given already. This is R-E-S-T-O-R-I-N-G.

Just wanted to air out before writing this Geek a letter!

So who's the idiot who wants the new interstate (which no one wants, we can't pay for and will go right through my house) named after himself? Bayh? Lugar?

Sigh. I remember the days when we used to name stuff after people or events that actually meant something... like the USS Lexington and Washington DC.

Hello Stephen !
It's not a new interstate, it's 465.
David Letterman (The Late Show-CBS) is the IDIOT who feels he should have something named after him. You watch he'll get his way. Just last night he called our geek mayor & they talked about it again. I swear if Indiana politicians don't get their morals right I'm not VOTING! Why vote when your not getting the person whom talks the talk & then does something else! Opps, better back away from politics! I could beat up a lot of them.

"Why vote?" The answer is simple, if you don't vote, they don't know you care.

The real trick is to get enough people to vote the way you do to really make a difference.

Ah... I see. Bayh, Lugar, Letterman... what's the difference?

C'mon, Christie... you've GOT to vote, even if it sickens you (like it does the rest of us). Either vote for the lesser of two evils, or save America by voting libertarian. Whatever... but ya gotta vote!

For a minute there I thought you were talking about the I-69 extension.

Hello to Al too!!!!
I won't stop voting! No way will I not let my voice be heard!! I will just be the fly on the wall & bug the hell out of them like they do US !
I get so sick of those guys getting paid to do what only the rich want done. Wait till I hit that Million, I will make society remember those before us who paved the roads.

Hey guys,
Who was a "HALL" in the 94th or just WW1 before Weir ?
Their's a complete uniform for this man from WW1 & this man is sending me photos of it. It would look great in the museum.

* *This is undoubtly the famous James Norman Hall author of many books, including 'The Mutiny on the Bounty' trilogy. *He teamed with Nordoff (sp.?) *He also wrote many WWI aviation books. *I would suspect to obtain his uniform, you are going to have to lay out a few bucks!! * *R.

yes, 12,500.00 to be exact.
Thanks for the info! I need to do more research on this. I would just like to have a full complete uniform.
