Does anyone know where I can find a list of early aircraft that were equipped with the Anzani 3 cylinder radial engine? Perhaps even a later aeroplane (post WW-I) that would make an eye- stopping RC flyer.

The Anzani 3 cylinder radial continued in production after the war. The Ford Flivver is the best known user. Or are you looking for the 30hp 3 cylinder fan configuration engine of Bleriot fame?

Thank you. I found exactly the kit I need among the listings for pedal cars. Thanks again for your post.

It does look a bit like that doesn't it I take it you have a three cylinder model aero engine of some kind. If so the only possible response is WOW! There was the Bristol M1D which sported a three cylinder radial, not an Anzani but very similar in layout.

p.s. I just found this! Is that what you have? Cool.

I just received prints for the PIP 3 cylinder engine that is an updated version of the Morton M5, in that it is 4 cycle but powered by glo plugs. Now I have a very hard year ahead making the hardware.

See the web site for Little Locos.

If I get going on this project I will build 3 at the same time. It is going to underpower the Ford model I found or be too large and heavy for the smaller version. Since I don't need to do aerobatics and will have trouble keeping it straight and level, I'll opt for the larger model.

There is a true model of the Anzani 3 radial (prints and castings) from England, but the ignition system is really complicated and induction is "iffy".
